Youssef Rafea is the owner and creative force of Sugar Topper, a fondant skills resource, based in Cairo, Egypt.
Youssef’s specialty is Fondant Figure Modeling, creating fantastically life-like and expressive figures for cakes and cupcakes that become cherished keepsakes from life’s most treasured celebrations.
His artistic skills are inspired by his childhood fascination with Animation and art features then his fine arts study, fueling his imagination and dreams.
He began Sugar Topper, a source for all kinds of Fun Fondant Cupcake & Cake Toppers.
Youssef likes to say that his mission is to “Spread Joy” and it’s at his fondant workshops that he feels he’s on the right path, meeting new people and working with them to develop their figure modeling skills and enjoy their own creativity.
